6th Annual Greek Gala
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of Philadelphia hosted its Sixth Annual Greek Gala on Friday, at the Williamson Banquet Hall in Horsham, Pa. Alanna D. Buchanan, NPHC of Philadelphia president, offered guests a warm welcome and said, “The festivities were originally conceived as an event to celebrate the annual accomplishments of our member organizations. The Greek Gala has steadily grown in scope and size. This year’s black-tie event recognizes the individual achievements of our members who have diligently and consistently served their respective chapters and the community. The honorees have made significant contributions in various arenas vital to the betterment of society including the education, public service and legal sectors. Fourteen individuals who collectively have more than 250 years of combined service to the Philadelphia community and region were honored at the elegant event where Richard Lee Snow, executive director/COO of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., served as the evening’s engaging master of ceremonies. Kappa Alpha Psi has over 150,000 members and Snow is responsible for overseeing the functions of Kappa Alpha Psi International Headquarters located in Philadelphia, Pa.
